Common Questions
How long does a scan take?
It depends on the space, but with our current camera a standard hotel room takes about 15 minutes. The largest space we’ve scanned took around an hour.
How much does a Matterport tour cost?
Tours start at $250. Final pricing depends on how many spaces you want captured and how large they are. Travel outside the Charleston area is billed separately.
Do I need to take rooms out of service during the scan?
Usually not. For hotels we work with you to find dates when the rooms are unlikely to be rented, scan in the morning, and have them back in inventory to sell that night. For restaurants we come in outside service hours, with as few people around as possible, so there’s no disruption.
How long does it take to go live?
Almost all tours are returned the same day.
Do you host the tour, or do I?
Revutation hosts the tour.
Can this be added to my existing website?
Yes. You get a link to the tour plus the embed code, so it can go on whatever website or booking engine you already have.
How far will you travel for a scan?
We’ll travel for the right project, though we focus on properties within driving distance of Charleston. Travel is billed separately.
